Holly Chambers
RN
Holly Chambers (nee Kish) has been an RN for 16 years graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan, Regina campus. With a lifelong interest in
governance and policy, Holly was grateful to be awarded her final nursing practicum at the College of
Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS). This experience and the role of co-chair of the nursing
student society allowed her to observe several national and provincial nursing board meetings. Years
later she volunteered as secretary, vice-present and member at large for two condo board associations.
She has since moved into her forever home with her husband and cat in Regina. They enjoy spending
time with family, watching live music and discussing the news. She has worked in the areas of acute care
surgery, inpatient trauma, in and outpatient burn care, day surgery, short stay and teaching 1 st year labs
at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She is currently employed as a Tele-triage nurse at HealthLine 811. Her
personal interest of mental health in nurses led to a term on the CRNS Mental Health Professional
Practice Group. Holly is honoured to have the opportunity to represent RNs and advocate for our
Saskatchewan nursing family with the APNS.
