Meet the Board of Directors

Monica Neu
President (LPN)
I have been an LPN for 15 years, with experience in acute care, long-term care, home care, and emergency services. For the past four and a half years, I have served as a Health Services Manager in an integrated health care facility. I have actively involved with APNS since its inception, holding roles of both Treasurer and President.

Holly Chambers
Board Member (RN)
I chose to study nursing and live in Regina directly after high school. Delighted to be accepted to the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus, I completed my degree in 2008. General surgery/acute care nursing ran parallel with my interest in health policy, self-regulation and leadership in nursing from day one of the Nursing Education Program of Saskatchewan.

Darla Rugland
Board Member (LPN)
I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years, working mainly in medical-surgical care across many rural Saskatchewan communities. While I work in Yorkton, my nursing journey has given me the privilege of caring for patients and families throughout the province, with a special passion for palliative care.

Megan Stewart
Board Member (LPN)
My name is Megan. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, I bring a strong foundation in patient-centered care and clinical expertise across diverse settings. As a Licensed Practical Nurse I have worked extensively in both acute and long-term care environments, with hands-on experience in medical-surgical units, geriatrics, mental health and dialysis.
Meet the APNS Staff
APNS boasts of a small but mighty team! We plan to expand this team to meet our needs as the Association grows.
